Leaving Relationship

I'm sorry that I've got to go
But this really isn't right;
It's not as good as it ought to be
We've both tried with all our might.

That is the point though isn't it
We shouldn't have to work this hard;
We both know we both deserve better
Love works without being awkward.

No tenterhooks but peace throughout
Each day and each night too;
The stress levels within this relationship
Are no good for me or you.

I love you but I'm not In Love
Maybe that's what this is;
I'm going now and will not look back
I hope you find your Adonis!

I've been a false friend in your shadow
Though it is now time to go;
I've stepped out into the sunlight
Just so that you would know.

I'm sorry but I'm moving on
This time to pastures new;
I haven't treated you very well
I'm sorry, I am-it's true.

I cannot be a hypocrite
I've been one for far to long;
You deserve someone so much better
Me for you, is just so wrong!

Leaving Home

I'm moving on now mom and dad
I've got a pad somewhere to call my own
I'll make as much mess as I want;
Somewhere that will be my home.

You've sheltered me for to long now
I've driven you mad over the years
With my dirty socks and messy room
I know mom I've driven you to tears.

So celebrate! Your home is now your own
For things to stay so nice and clean;
Peace and quiet long overdue
No longer feeling like my canteen.

New Job

That new job of yours
I've followed suit you know;
Don't panic not with you
I'm going with the flow.

The exodus is quite immense
Everyone feels the same;
It's time for a change of air
New horizons-different game.

Well done on your promotion
Up the ladder of success;
We don't begrudge it you one bit
You'll just leave us in this sorry mess!

New Home

May your home be bright with cheer,
May your cares all disappear,
May contentment come your way,
And may laughter fill your day.

~~~~
Well done! you've found a house
One that you can at last call your own;
We're sure that very soon
You'll be able to call it home.
Lots of bits and bobs
That make it all feel yours;
We'll be round as soon as you're done
And you can give us a tour?
A new adventure starting
As you dpeart for another land;
We wish you the best of luck
As your horizons now expand.
It's time to say Bon Voyage
Although we'd rather say;
Hope we'll meet again sometime
As we travel along life's way.
~~~~

One kind kiss before we part,
Drop a tear, and bid adieu;
Though we sever, my fond heart
Till we meet shall pant for you.
